Driving and bouldering

By Tom Newman

A hell of a lot of driving and climbing.

Up to Rieff on the North West Coast of Scotland, then back to near Fort William and a second ascent of a Dave McCleod 8A called Triangulation. Essentially 800 miles for two climbs (climbers are idiots). The journey continued down to Wales, across to the Peak and ending in the Churnet Valley on a 8A within the week. With a mix of 8A's and 8A+ I have come to the conclusion that the UK is actually pretty good.

Here's a summary of the week. In a nutshell. over on my blog.

Here's a video of megrabbing the second ascent of Paper Birds (8A+) at the Gop, Wales.
