When we first started dreaming of Alpkit stores, we knew we wanted them to be different. We wanted a slice of home amidst the mountains.

Somewhere we could go to meet friends, talk of adventures past, present and future and check out some great gear at the same time.

A trip to an Alpkit store is (and always will be) exactly that. We love to celebrate the outdoors with our customers and strive to offer as much support in your endeavours as we can. That's why at our stores you'll always find a warm welcome with all the advice you need.

Things to do in-store

Our stores aren't just stores. Here's just some of the things we offer:

• Tea and coffee (and sometimes cakes!) are included with your visit to a store.

• School of Adventure
• Our stores regularly host talks, film nights and events to educate and inspire adventure.

• Try a Sonder before you buy
• Our entire Sonder fleet is available to hire or test in store to help you decide which one is right for you.

• Bouldering mat hire
• Save space in the car for more kit - hire a bouldering mat from a store.

• Local knowledge
• In search of adventure? Our expert store heroes will point you in the right direction!

• Repair and Wash Service
• Breathe new life into your old, tired kit (of any brand!) with an expertly-done repair and wash.
