Sonder Falco
Falco brings 29er speed, alloy resilience, and sweet spot geometry tuned for UK's natural trails and trail centres. Confident, precise, and lively without being twitchy. A trail bike that meets you where you’re at — and won’t hold you back.
Sonder Falco
Falco is an ultra-capable hard tail trail bike. Whether it’s your first proper mountain bike or your tenth, Falco meets you where the trailhead and takes you beyond. Fast, confidence-inspiring, and responsive without being twitchy, it’s a bike that helps you grow your skills — without getting in the way of the fun.
“Falco didn't flinch once - berms, roots, roll-ins, handled the red at Coed y Brenin like it'd been riding without me. I came back grinning, arms buzzing, already planning the next trail. Legs sore in new ways. Mind clear in teh same old ones."
Let the Trail Take You There
-
29er confidence with alloy durability — fast rolling, grippy and composed through roots, rocks and loose corners
-
Trail-tuned geometry — stable and planted on descents, but still playful when you want it
-
120mm fork travel — the sweet spot for all-day trail centre laps and classic UK singletrack
-
Built to evolve — room for chunky tyres, dropper-ready, and future-proof spec to grow with your riding
Performance on the Trail
Falco hits that golden ratio of capability and approachability. It’s a bike you’ll feel at home on from day one — and still be enjoying years down the line. The neutral trail geometry and 29” wheels make light work of rocky descents, rooty climbs and everything in between. It’s the kind of bike that brings a grin to your face on a red loop, and won’t flinch when things get rough.
“Falco is playful, confident, and capable enough to keep up as you grow. It’s a true mountain bike for people who take their trail time seriously, and want a ride that keeps up. It doesn’t shout — it just works, ride after ride.” - Neil Sutton, Sonder Designer
Choose a build that suits your ride style: fast-rolling tyres for trail centre flow, or go big and chunky for natural lines and off-piste days. Internal routing keeps your cockpit clean and quiet, and every Falco comes dropper-ready.
Made to Last. Made to Ride.
Falco’s aluminium frame balances weight, strength, and ride feel. With a BSA threaded bottom bracket, boost axle spacing, and UDH hanger, it’s easy to maintain and ready for modern drivetrain upgrades — including SRAM Transmission. Like all Sonder bikes, Falco is hand-built to order right here in the UK, with wheelsets laced in our own workshop. No excess. Just the bike you need, built to last.
Ultra-capable trail ready geometry
Falco's sweet-spot geometry is tuned for UK trail centres. A 66° head angle coupled with short, but not too short, chain stays and a long, but not too long reach gives the perfect balance between agility and stability.

Ride your way
Carefully considered frame features let you build yours to match your ride style; choose lightweight components for XC-style speed or set up with chunky tyres for tougher trail duties with clearance up to 29 x 2.4in.

Internal cable routing
Internal routing for brake, gear and dropper cables in the front triangle makes for a clean profile.

Modern, future-proof frame
Ultra versatile and future-proof with boost axle spacing, a UDH hanger, dropper routing and space for a bottle. Plus, the BSA threaded bottom bracket makes maintenance easy for the home mechanic.

Universal Derailleur Hanger
Keeping up with industry standards, Falco uses a UDH mech hanger. They're widely available so you can get rolling again sooner after any mid-ride mishaps! The UDH frame fitting also gives you the option of running SRAM's latest groupsets with direct-mount derailleurs.
