Active Traveller's staff tested the Alpkit Pipedream 400 sleeping bag and found its weight and packability impressive. Clocking in at a mere 865g, it can compress into a compact 18 x 25cm, ideal for hiking and bikepacking adventures.

An excellent value, high specced sleeping bag with water-resistant down a bonus.

Its high-quality 90/10 goose down with DownTek PFC free hydrophobic treatment ensures that even if it gets damp during a bivvy, it retains its insulating power and dries swiftly. Its protective drawcord hood adds significant warmth, but those over 6ft might consider opting for the longer version.
