Alpkit's Black Friday sale supports the Foundation, offering discounted products while promoting grassroots projects.
It’s on. Our Black Friday sale is back. And it's massive. From the 17th to midnight on the 29th of November, shop discounted products across online and in-store. Equipment, clothing, camping and bikes.
It’s part of our Alpkit DNA to give back. You’re donating to the Alpkit Foundation and supporting grassroots projects with everything you buy. That’s why, during our Black Friday sale, we’re doubling the donation from every sale to the Alpkit Foundation.
Thanks to our customers, the Alpkit Foundation has helped 1300+ projects by awarding over £400,000 in small grants. That’s more than 26,000 people! And in the last year alone, we have awarded £100,000 to 380 projects.
We’re incredibly proud of supporting projects that champion education, participation, environment, diversity, and health. We love sitting down to discuss applications and make decisions. These small steps have meaningful impact on individuals and direct-action projects.
Small steps, big impact
Here's some of the projects we've been working on recently. We're pretty excited about them.
JPC Community Farm
We provided warm, functional, weatherproof clothing for those working outside on the small care JPC Community Farm. No matter the weather.
Froglife
Froglife, a conservation charity who work with vulnerable and disadvantages young people in Scotland to improve their confidence, social skills, knowledge and appreciation of wildlife.
Ride to COP26
Jessie was determined to attend COP26 in person. She rode the 570 mile trip from home to Glasgow. And she founded the movement People Pedal Power to reinforce her message.
Re-opening Earth School
Earth Trust is an environmental learning charity with the aim of giving people access to and experience of the environment through natural green spaces, together understanding what we can do to care for the planet.
Unity Works Hike for Health
Unity Works is a London-based charity that supports people with a learning disability. Their Adventurers’ Club organised for its members to venture out of London for the first time since lockdown began.
We couldn’t do this without our customers. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
