Kepler Long Sleeve
£59.99
We use 100% genuine superfine non-mulesing merino wool to ensure our Kepler long-sleeved top deserves a place in everyones outdoor layering system.
The lightweight baselayer top is a staple piece of most peoples layering systems. Kepler fits right in there with its excellent performance over a vast range of conditions. Quite simply it is a garment that does many things really rather well. Breathable, wicking, fast drying and famously odour resistant, merino can be worn in the hot, in the cold, in the wet and in the dry.
For all round comfort over extended durations merino is our baselayer of choice.
Thumb retainers in the cuffs stop the arms riding up to expose your wrists to the cold, useful when your activity involves a lot of reaching.
Flatlock seams and an anatomical cut enhance the natural next-to-skin comfort of merino.
MERINO
The Kepler range uses beautiful, ultrafine merino for a luxuriously comfortable next-to-skin feel.
With thermoregulatory and anti-microbial properties, merino wool is more than a match for day-in, day-out use across the temperatures in changeable mountain conditions, help you to stay fresh, comfortable, and protected no matter what the weather decides.
We use 100% natural merino from non-mulesing farms.

Sustainability and Product Care
Product Care Information
The better you look after this merino garment, the better it will look after you. Give your Kepler a long, happy life with these tips: Hand wash your merino in lukewarm water, or gentle machine wash. Darn any holes as soon as possible so they don’t grow. Avoid snagging, vigorous machine washing, putting your finger through the fabric, and hungry moths.

Sustainability
How It Is Made
Non-mulesed Merino
We only use merino from certified non-mulesed sources. Mulesing is a practice some farms use to guard against parasitic fly strike. We believe this practice is cruel and unnecessary and something that can be easily prevented by regular shearing.
Natural Fibre Materials
Merino wool is 100% natural, biodegradable and renewable (sheep produce new fleece and sheep produce new sheep... usually in spring... they gambol... you know all this...)
Where It Is Made
Our products are made in the best factories in the world. We know the factories personally and they have all signed up to our Code of Ethics in our supply chain. This includes the Ethical Trading Initiative base code, fair pay, safe working environments, no child labour, no modern slavery, no bribery or corruption, no materials from conflict zones and humane farming methods.
All our factories sign up to our Code of Conduct. Find out where we make our product by visiting our Factories of Alpkit factory zone.
Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
