Our reputation is built on great product. Performance products that are built to last - low impact, long lasting, recycled and ultimately recylable. Technical. Ethical. Sustainable.

We're redefining innovation around the principles of circular desgn. And develop lower impact materials with the best mills in the world from recycled, organic, renewable, or regenerative sources.

Increasing recycled content across our range

Our goal is to eliminate virgin oil from our materials.

We’re not there yet—but we’re tracking every fibre to get there.

Cut From A Different Cloth

Made with lower impact materials, real people, and zero compromise

Our gear is designed to be used, abused, repaired and reused — not stuffed in wardrobes or swapped out every season. From waterproofs to wetsuits, we prioritise lower-impact materials, long-term durability, and radical simplicity.

If we can’t justify it functionally, we won’t add it. If it breaks too soon, we go back to the drawing board. Because making less stuff — and making it better — is one of the most powerful things we can do.

Good design shouldn’t shout. It should show up, time and time again.

Here's just a few product stories that show what we do.

A worlds first mountaineering jacket

Definition Jacket

Our flagship waterproof, built with a 3-layer PFC-free membrane that delivers elite breathability, long-term durability and total repairability. Every component is chosen to minimise environmental impact without compromising performance — it’s a serious mountain shell that proves technical gear can be both high-spec and low-harm.

Raining Champion

Sigma Waterproof Jacket

It's monomer construction from 100% recycled materials and our own, exclusive, performance 3 layer membranes makes Sigma a class leading waterproof jacket with outstanding environmental pedigree.

Now 100% recycled

Filoment Jacket

Our warmest, most packable jacket. The outer made is from 100% recycled fabric and treated with a durable water repellent thats free from PFC's.

The 630 fill power down provides an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and is fully recycled (RCS 100 certified), to reduce the amount of down that goes into landfill.

Sleek Primaloft Silver Eco Insulating Layer

Heiko Jacket

The Heiko's outer fabric and inner liner are made from a super light and soft 100% recycled polyester fabric. This fabric forms a fully windproof sandwich around the insulation (inedible though), trapping vital body heat when you stop moving or the wind picks up.

We've used PrimaLoft® Silver Eco, a 100% recycled insulation, for its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. This highly compressible fill allows the Heiko to pack away into its own chest pocket (complete with hang loop for clipping to climbing harnesses).

Classic recycled snap-T fleece with big kangaroo pockets

Loki

Made with 100% recycled fabric. A modern take on a classic style, with block colours and bold trim. Loki does it all - cosy and stylish at the campsite or bothy, and as a performance midlayer on big mountain days. Kangaroo handwarmer pocket, elasticated cuffs and snap neck closure give that extra bit of protection when the cool winds blow through the valley.

Winning "Best In Test" in Trek & Mountain magazine they say "This fleece is my favourite of all those tested. I really love the big kangaroo pocket. Putting your hands in this pocket brings instant warmth and feels wonderful. Another excellent feature is the elastication at the hem and cuffs."

Looking Ahead: Our 2026 Priorities

We’ve set bolder goals and sharper standards — not because it’s easy, but because it matters. Across every one of our founding principles, we’re moving forward with more clarity and more conviction.

Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle

We’ll expand our repair services and increase takeback volumes — aiming for 40% more rehomed kit through Continuum. Our next milestone is full circular design across top-volume lines by 2027. That means thinking about the end from the very beginning.

Respect Our Environment

We’re cutting carbon intensity by at least 15% this year — focusing on better materials, smarter logistics, and cleaner factories. Air freight is being reined in, with ground and sea preferred wherever possible. And we’ll publish climate impact at a product level, so customers can see what’s behind their gear.

Build a Better Business

We’ll complete a full review of our operational policies through the lens of our new Human Rights and Green Claims commitments. We’ll continue to embed B Corp into board-level decisions, ensuring we balance purpose with performance every step of the way.

 Give Back

The Alpkit Foundation will support another 2,500 grassroots initiatives this year, and we’ll expand our support for inclusion-led outdoor groups. Our target is 50% of grants to go to projects tackling systemic inequality in access to nature.

Treat Animals Humanely

We’ll continue to partner with Re:Down, aiming to triple the amount of down reused in our supply chain. Our target is for all animal-derived materials to meet certified humane standards — or be phased out where alternatives outperform.

Work With People We Believe In

We’re shifting 15% of production out of higher-risk sourcing regions and building deeper relationships with EU and UK suppliers.

We'll increase transparency in our supply chain with greater disclosure on pay, supply chain emissions and material usage. Every factory will be audited annually against our Code of Conduct and Environmental Screening Checklist.

We aren’t about chasing headlines. It’s about quietly transforming how we work — from the materials we choose, to the relationships we build, to the kit we make and repair. We’re not here to be the biggest. We’re here to be better.

And better is something you build, stitch by stitch.
