2016 bike luggage dev part 1
We have been developing and making bike luggage in-house for more than 7 years. Over this time our factory has quite literally blossomed, we have taken on new staff, broadened our selection of biscuits and demanded more space to keep pace. We have had great success making tens of thousands of items for people going out on their bikes ‘going nice places, doing good things’.
We have come a long way from the early days when we were experimenting with our first custom frame bags for Shaggy on the Iditarod and we now have a full range to fulfill the bike luggage wishlist of many an adventurous bike rider. As production of our off-the-shelf items has stepped up we have been listening to our customers and team members, pulling in design elements from our custom builds to update and bring out some new gear.
Over the next few weeks I will be updating you on some of these changes, here is the first of these.
The ‘Fat Roo’ will be a new addition to the product range. It is an accessory bag that sits in front of your Airlok Xtra. It attaches to a Kanga with SJ 20 mm buckles, or can be used independently replacing your dual straps to hold your Airlok direct on to your bars. With a two sided zip it opens wide to fix your gear in nice and easy but also has a folded zip port to stop things falling out.
The full range will be available by the end of April, but the machines are hot and it may be sooner!
