When you’re riding remote gravel tracks, portaging quiet lochs or hiking into the hills, the Aeronaut 1 gives you shelter without weighing you down. It’s a solo inflatable tent that packs small, pitches fast, and takes the stress out of setting up camp — because adventure’s hard enough without faffing with tent poles at the end of the day.

Go Light. Go Far. Sleep Easy.

  • Inflatable air pole is fast to pitch and folds away easily

  • No poles = ultra-packable for bikepacking and kayaking

  • Circular design gives roomy internal space and porch storage

  • Robust 3-season protection with repairable, long-lasting materials

Fast, Light and Frustration-Free
Aeronaut 1 is built around a circular air pole that inflates in seconds using a bike pump or foot pump. That means no poles to snap, no time wasted slotting tubes together in the rain — just inflate and get inside. It pitches outer-first with the inner attached, keeping everything dry and sorted in one go. And when it’s time to break camp? Pull the valve and stuff it straight into your bag.

The curved frame creates more usable space inside than traditional single-person tents. You get enough headroom to sit up, three internal pockets to stash your essentials, and a covered porch to keep muddy boots out of your sleeping zone.

Tested in the Wild
From Scottish trailheads to Alpine bothies, Aeronaut 1 has earned its stripes. The air pole has been driven over by a fully loaded van and still stood up to the challenge. On the off-chance it ever punctures, it’s easily repaired with a standard bike tube patch. It’s a solid, reliable 3-season shelter — waterproofed, wind-stable and trusted by solo travellers who pack light and move fast.

Built to Last, Easy on the Planet
Aeronaut 1 uses a durable 15D ripstop nylon flysheet with a silicone/PU coating so is free from PFCs, a 20D inner and groundsheet with a 5000mm waterproof rating. It’s built to go the distance and backed by our 3 Year Alpine Bond for peace of mind.

Fewer parts, fewer breakages, less faff — more time outdoors where you belong.

Sustainability and Product Care

Caring for your tent

Clean and dry your tent thoroughly after each use. Never use a washing machine, tumble dryer or jet wash to clean your tent. Spot clean with warm water, mild (non-detergent) soap and a soft sponge. Never use bleach, fabric softeners or other household cleaning products and air dry only.

Tent repair

To make your tent last longer, avoid prolonged UV exposure and repair damage immediately. If you are unlucky enough to rip your tent on a trip, use duct tape or StormSure Tough Tape until you have a chance to repair it properly. For more tent repair tips read our tent care and repair blog.

You can repair your inflatable pole should it burst with a standard puncture repair kit.
