    Location: Oak House Alpkit Warehouse, Moorgreen Industrial Estate, NG16
    Position: Permanent, Part-time
    Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri with occasional Saturday work)
    Wage: We are a Living Wage Foundation Employer


    About the Role
    Are you someone who naturally wants to ‘roll their sleeves up and get stuck in’? Do you thrive in a team who deliver results? And most importantly, do you care that customers always receive the product they ordered on-time?

    In this role you will perform general warehouse duties in our small team, working to maintain a smooth operation including picking and packing, unloading, and loading of stock.

    We are responsible in the way we run our business and as part of all our roles at Alpkit, we ask staff to be conscious of our sustainable working practices.

    About the Team
    The Warehouse Team is small but mighty, a vital part of our supply chain. This team ensures all our product is picked, packed, and sent out on time to our lovely customers to help them go nice places. It’s fast paced and demanding but they have regular brew breaks to keep them going!

    About You
    You will have a high level of accuracy
    Operate in a safe manner
    Enjoy working within a small team of warehouse operatives
    Previous experience of working in a similar warehouse environment would be beneficial.

    Sonder Bike Technician – Alpkit Campus

    Location: Alpkit Bike Warehouse, Moorgreen Industrial Estate, NG16
    Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri)
    Position: Temporary

    Are you ready to pedal your way into a new venture? Sonder bikes are obsessively conceived and expertly built. We are looking for a temporary Sonder Technician to join our team of mechanics to assemble our award-winning bikes and help us scale up for spring production.

    We love building products that customers will love for years. We believe that every bike has a story and we’re on a mission to help riders create unforgettable tales on two wheels. If you’re passionate about bikes, specs, and components, this is the temporary role for you.

    About the Role
    As a Sonder Technician, you’ll work within the small Bike Build team, assembling bikes for our fantastic bunch of customers. From road warriors to gravel crushers and full-suspension thrill-seekers, you'll assemble each bike with care and precision, ensuring they're ready to hit the trails straight out of the box.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will look like (but not be limited to):

    Careful and efficient assembly of bikes.
    Keep a hawk-eye on quality control to ensure every ride is perfect.
    Packing up bikes with love and care, ready to be shipped to their new homes.
    Assess and carry out warranty repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work space.

    About You
    You will be confident and competent in assembling road, hardtail and full suspension bikes.
    Meticulous attention to detail in bike builds.
    Bike workshop experience necessary.
    Cytech qualification desirable but not essential.

    Personal Attributes
    Confident.
    Self-motivated and able to work independently.
    Passionate about bikes, specs and components. 
    Affinity towards Alpkit ethos and products.
    Strong attention to detail.

    Store Hero – Ambleside Store

    We’re on the lookout for a Store Hero to join our Ambleside Team. As a member of the store team, you will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in driving sales and providing world class customer service. Do you love being on the shop floor chatting with customers? We’re looking for a superb sales assistant to help build on our reputation for sales and service. If you have a passion for the outdoors, and you love talking to people about outdoor kit, then come help us Go Nice Places, Do Good Things.

    The Store
    Our heroes on the customer front line play a huge part within Alpkit. This is an exciting opportunity for the person who loves the outdoors, loves talking to customers, and enjoys offering real service with personality. Think of one of our stores as a base camp, a well-equipped gear store with the entire Alpkit product range inside. We've got a wetsuit to try on, bike packing luggage to fit for size and sleeping bags packed up to show their pack sizes. You can hire a bouldering mat, demo a bike, or book your tired and weary kit in for repair. You could also just come in and hang out when you're soggy and tired after a full day running, biking, or hiking! We are champions of sustainability and are world class at what we do.
