    Location: Alpkit Campus (Nottingham)
    Position: Full-time, Hybrid working (min. 3 days at Campus per week)
    Hours: 40hrs per week (Monday - Friday)

    Here at Alpkit, we enjoy serving customers and enjoy closing a sale. We are helpful, cheery, engaging, and knowledgeable. We feel pride when we get a review, and when see customers with our products in use. Our products are obsessively conceived and expertly built. From the UK designed and made bikes in our workshop, to the bouldering pads and backpacks made in our UK factory. We’re obsessive about Customer Experience.

    We are looking for a new Hero to join our award-winning Customer Support team. Someone who loves gear as much as we do, and can talk about that gear to our customers.

    What you’ll be doing?
    You’ll work within the Customer Support team with responsibility for guiding our customers from order all the way through to delivery. You’ll also help our customers with any aftersales care they may need, with our fantastic 3 year 'Alpine Bond' warranty as a guide.

    Customer Service is at the core of the Alpkit & Sonder experience, and we work hard to continuously improve that experience.

    Your day will include:

  • Providing fast, accurate, personal responses to customers via our omni-channel emails, live chats, and phone calls.
  • Guiding the customer from point of sale to delivery.
  • Liaising with various departments to ensure product delivery is smooth and trouble free.
  • Payment processing using our multiple payment options.
  • Problem solving to ensure stock accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • General Alpkit & Sonder Customer Service enquiries from warranty, technical and sales call/emails.

  • Computer literate with ability to use Word, Excel, & Mac based apps
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

    Factory Machinist

    Location: Alpkit Campus (Nottingham)
    Position: Full-time
    Hours: 40hrs per week (Monday - Friday)


    About the Role
    Do you love outdoor kit so much you want to make it? Join our UK factory and bring the passion of what you love doing to the products to help others get out to go nice places and do good things.

    We’re looking for an experienced sewing machinist to join our team to help us out with production. Someone self-motivated who takes pride in producing high-quality outdoor products. You will be taking products from the very start of production to the very end with a group of like-minded outdoors enthusiasts. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, good timekeeping, and a keen eye for detail and quality.

    About the team
    Alpkit is a small team with excellent customer service. The bread and butter of the business is the high-quality products and you will be an important part of what we do. We have a relaxed working environment where tea and coffee is to hand, decent music plays, but when there’s stuff to do we knuckle down and get the job done.

    The factory sewing machinist role involves handling raw materials, using heavy duty lock stitch machines, binders and bartacker

    Sewing Experience is essential for this role.

    Store Heroes - Alpkit Kingston

    Location: Alpkit Kingston
    Position: Permanent, Part-time
    Hours: Casual


    What you’ll be doing
    We’re on the lookout for Store Heroes to join our brand new Alpkit Kingston team. As a member of the store team, you will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in driving sales and providing world-class customer service. Do you love being on the shop floor with our customers? You'll love sharing your knowledge of the outdoors, advising on the best kit for our customers' adventures and sharing the best of the local area.

    We have a relaxed retail environment, but we work hard. Tea (and coffee for the non-believers) is always to hand, decent music is almost always on and we are driven by our mission to support our customers to Go Nice Places, Do Good Things.

    Repair Hero - Alpkit Betws y Coed

    Location: Alpkit Betws Y Coed
    Position: Permanent, Part-time
    Hours: TBC


    What you’ll be doing
    Do you love outdoor kit so much; you want to repair it and keep it going for longer? We’re on the lookout for a Repair Hero to join our Betws Y Coed Alpkit Team. As a member of the store team, you will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager by repairing customers kit in our designated repair stations. We take pride in providing world class customer service. We’re looking for your love of outdoor gear and repairing it. Ideally, we’re looking for someone with sewing experience, or if you’re handy with a home sewing machine, get in touch!
