Micro Turbine Pump Ultralight, externally-powered camping mat pump
£29.99
When you’ve walked all day and just want your bed for the night sorted, the last thing you need is faff. Micro Turbine is our lightest ever camping mat pump at just 28g - about an ounce - and small enough to disappear into any kit list. It fills your mat quickly, without blowing warm or moist air inside, and weighs less than many fabric pump sacks.
Highlights
-
Featherweight design - just 28g for the pump
-
Externally powered - runs from a USB-C power bank or phone
-
Inflate and deflate - quick setup and easy pack-down
-
Integrated USB-C cable - male and female connections for flexible power options
-
Clip-and-go - integrated cable doubles as a loop to attach to your rucksack
Performance at camp
Micro Turbine is built for lightweight campers and anyone who already carries a phone or power bank. Unlike its bigger brother the Turbine Rechargeable Mat Pump, there’s no internal battery and no built-in light - just a stripped-back pump that does one job well. Plug it into your Juice Boost, your phone, or any USB-C port and you’re ready to go.
Despite its tiny size, it delivers a 300L per minute flow rate and inflates up to 3.5 kPa, giving similar performance to larger pumps in a fraction of the size. The integrated USB-C cable allows direct connection to devices without bringing extra cables while doubling as a hanging loop for easy access on your pack. Theres also a female USB-C port for flexible power options.
We've included a range of nozzles so you can inflate all our camping mats, the vast majority of 3rd party mats and even some other inflatables. Plus, when the time comes to break camp, flip the Micro turbine around use it to deflate your mat - ideal for getting it back into bikepacking bags when space is at a premium!
Why use a mat pump vs inflating with my breath?
Using a pump to inflate your mat helps increase its lifespan. When inflating with your breath; warm, moist air from your lungs can gradually break down the adhesives within some mats over time and can encourage bacteria to grow, reducing the effectiveness of some forms of insulation. We recommend some form of pump to avoid this and keep your mat going for many adventures to come.
Bonus tip: if your fire needs a nudge, a quick blast of air from the Micro Turbine can help waft embers back to life.
So light you’ll forget you packed it
Micro Turbine sits alongside our rechargeable Turbine pump, offering a lighter, simpler option for those who already carry power. No extra battery to charge. No bulk. Just a compact tool that makes camp life easier without adding noticeable weight to your pack.

Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intensity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
