Recording Human Impact on Coastlines

Recording Human Impact on Coastlines

By Alpkit

Recording Human Impact on Coastlines transforms data into stories. Beach walks reveal how waves shape our world, encouraging us to protect our shorelines.

Tasked with planning an international expedition, students from the School of Adventure Studies in Scotland wanted to plan something enriching and inspiring. So, they chose to sea kayak down the Icelandic coastline, recording and analysing human impact on the coastline. The Alpkit Foundation supported their trip by sending them two Brukits to take along with them, so we were keen to find out how they got on.
