Folding neatly into four sections, the Nanolite is one of the lightest folding trekking poles available – you’ll never have to debate packing them!

    • One of the lightest folding trekking poles available (120cm = 123g)
    • Folds away into a compact 35cm for stashing inside packs
    • Quick to assemble with a simple pull cord – no knack required!

Sometimes it’s hard to justify carrying the extra weight of a pair of trekking poles – never mind working out how you’ll attach them to your pack. You might only need them for very steep climbs. Or to save your knees on the way down. Or as a just-in-case for that decidedly dodgy river crossing…

With a maximum weight of 135g and a folded length of 35cm, the Nanolites are ideal for ultralight backpacking and mountain running – situations where trekking poles make a big difference to speed and comfort but keeping a low pack weight is still essential. They’re fully collapsible too, folding down into four separate parts so you can stash them away inside your pack or neatly attach them to the back of your running vest.

We’ve made the Nanolite super easy to assemble, snapping into place in around 3 seconds (0.79 seconds is the official Alpolympic Record). There are no complicated knacks to learn here – you simply hold the pole upright until the four sections align and pull the cord tight into the slot on the handle.

    Designers Notes
"The Nanolites use high quality 3K carbon which reduces the weight of each pole without compromising on strength. We’ve also reinforced the internal cord with Kevlar and given it a little bit of extra play to extend your poles lifespan."

    How It Is Made

    Made To Last
The Carbon Nanolite poles have a Kevlar reinforced internal cord that's been given extra play so that it lasts for longer.

    Where It Is Made
Our products are made in the best factories in the world. We know the factories personally and they have all signed up to our Code of Ethics in our supply chain. This includes the Ethical Trading Initiative base code, fair pay, safe working environments, no child labour, no modern slavery, no bribery or corruption, no materials from conflict zones and humane farming methods.

All our factories sign up to our Code of Conduct. Find out where we make our product by visiting our Factories of Alpkit factory zone.

    Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.

We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.

    End of life
