Alpkit are looking for a Marketing Manager who will play a critical role in driving the organisation forward, as well as helping to shape it in readiness for future growth, to recruit new customers, and grow our UK and international business.
Experience Required: 5 Years minimum

Key Areas & Tasks
- Campaign planning and execution in line with our brand vision and guidelines, identifying key steps to achieve campaign goals/deliverables – working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure achievable deadlines.
- Maintain and develop our sales and marketing plan in line with the outcome of marketing planning meetings.
- Build campaign concepts in line with our promotional calendar, brand values and core marketing messages.
- Create campaign content following our brand tone and personality (supported by the wider team).
- Manage our direct mail critical path from ideation through to delivery and performance monitoring.
- Manage key product launch critical paths.
- Lead our brand partnerships and related activity.
- Lead our digital PR, press and media relationships. Develop existing relationships and actively seek new opportunities in the UK and key international markets.
- Assist with planning and operational elements of our photoshoots.
- Build and deliver our social media strategy.
- Line management responsibility for Marketing Executive to deliver:
- Social media platforms (Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Strava and Youtube).
- Gear reviews with press and content creators
- Alpkiteer and Sonder Rider relationships
- Social content creators and UGC
- Community support
- Events
- Daring Deeds

Personal experience
- An experienced marketeer with a deep understanding of customers, brand and retail marketing
- Ideally from the outdoor industry, cycling industry or within consumer goods
- Knowledge of consumer brands and multi-channel retailing
- Active interest in the outdoor/sports markets and retailers, and/or travel, bike and lifestyle
- Understanding the marketing tools of the trade including social, PR, written communication, brand ambassadors, market research,
- Microsoft software suite of products, visual communication software products and creative services
