The Williams Fellmaster Compass is a thumb compass suitable for speedy navigation decisions for orienteering and fell races.
If you’ve ever been overtaken in a race by a confident-looking, map-reading, heather-bashing, short-short-wearing, fell-running blur, they were probably using a thumpass.
The Williams Fellmaster Compass is easy-to-use for quick route decisions with a comfortable, adjustable thumb strap. Compass on one hand and map in the other, you can run with confidence in navigational fell races and orienteering events.
For use on the fells, trails, highlands and lowlands. For ultras and local orienteering leagues. Our Design Team have used thicker oil in the dial to reduce needle wobble to keep you moving and micro navigating speedily, saving you time and effort.
The orange dial glows in the dark, making it perfect for night-time navigating for epic challenges or even just mid-winter evening adventures.

The Williams Fellmaster Compass likes its personal space. Keep it away from magnets or electronic devices and don’t store it touching another compass. This could leave the Fellmaster feeling a little lost (it may tamper with the needle direction). If the compass polarises (points south instead of north), drag a magnet along the base of the compass from south to north to correct the needle.
