Roundhouse is a 6-person organic cotton bell tent and a true home-from-home. Whether you're stretching out with four or piling in as a full six, it’s made for slow mornings, long evenings, and the freedom to settle in and stay a while. With a spacious 4m diameter it's perfect for big family getaways and laid-back group camps. Wake to birdsong, let the kids roam wild, and gather under canvas when the stars come out.

Let the Adventure Begin

  • More Space, More Comfort – A roomy 4m footprint and 2m of headroom make it a social hub with space to spare.

  • Breathable Polycotton – Organic cotton blend stays cool in the heat, cuts condensation and keeps the air fresh.

  • Built for life outside – Tough 900D groundsheet, durable steel pole, and UV-resistant fabric hold up to wind, rain, and long-term use.

  • Pitch in 15 Minutes – One central pole and simple peg system mean less faff, more firepit time.

Room to Roam, Space to Breathe

Roundhouse 6 builds on the classic bell tent design with extra living space for families and friends. The single-pole structure is simple to pitch yet strong enough to stand firm in all conditions. Breathable polycotton fabric helps regulate temperature naturally, while the durable groundsheet keeps damp and draughts at bay. An A-frame door adds height and ease of entry with an optional inner tent that transforms part of the space into a warm, bug-free bedroom. It’s big enough to host a board game night, yet cosy enough for just two with space to sprawl.

Lower Impact, Longer Life

The Roundhouse 6 is made with a 35 % organic cotton blend fabric and hardwearing fixtures designed to last. Polycotton canvas resists UV breakdown up to 3x longer than synthetic alternatives; with wooden toggles, steel poles, and reinforced stitching that all add to its durability. As always, it's backed by our 3-year Alpine Bond, supported by our in-house repairs team, and made with our B Corp commitment to people and planet.

Designer’s Notes

“Polycotton canvas is not just more breathable – it weathers better and wears in beautifully. You’re looking at a tent that's in it for the long haul; made with a fabric that suits family life outdoors."

Top tip: Pair it with the Roundhouse 6 Inner for a separate bedroom that adds privacy and warmth without losing living space.

Sustainability and Product Care

Tent care

Clean and dry your tent thoroughly after each use. Never use a washing machine, tumble dryer or jet wash to clean your tent. Car washes are also frowned upon. Spot clean with warm water, mild (non-detergent) soap and a soft sponge. Never use bleach, fabric softeners or other household cleaning products and air dry only.

Tent repair

To make your tent last longer, avoid prolonged UV exposure and repair damage immediately. All our tents are provided with a basic repair kit for patching holes and splinting poles in the field. If your tent is beyond basic repair, pop down to one of our store's Repair Stations! If you are unlucky enough to rip your tent on a trip, use duct tape or StormSure Tough Tape until you have a chance to repair it properly. For more tent repair tips read our tent care and repair blog.

Reducing our carbon footprint

We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.

We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
