Sheffield Adventure Film Festival

Sheffield Adventure Film Festival

By Alpkit>

Sheffield Adventure Film Festivalreturns for another year this March. The show is exactly what it says on the tin; a weekend of adventure films. One ticket gives you multi-film screening, so you can watch all your favourite films in one go. There’s over 100 adventure, travel and extreme sport films being shown over the weekend of 11th - 13th March.

We’re delighted to be supporting the event, and are super excited to be bringing along our Sonder bikes for you to have a look at. The Transmitter, Broken Road and Camino Ti complete the current range. Come along to have look, touch and have a nosey at what they’re all about! All bikes are currently on pre-order, for despatch late March. There will also be a Steep Edge room where you can play some of your favourite films from the website on the big screen.

The festival takes place at the art deco Showroom Cinema in Sheffield, and at the Pennine Lecture Theatre at Sheffield Hallam University. Forming the backbone of the festival is a competition, identifying the best adventure film of the weekend. Films are judged by ShAFF’s permanent panel of judges, including one of Alpkit’s directors, David Hanney.

To quench your thirst, the guys have even created a ShAFF beer, especially for this year's festival! Come along and say hi, watch some awesome films and have a great weekend!
