Apply now for 4 days of Adventure in Snowdonia

Residential courses are quite often peoples first taste of the outdoor experiences many of us take for granted, however finding the funding to book on to a course is a real barrier for some. This is where AKF comes in and each month we support applications from groups throughout the UK.

For a third year running we welcome the support of Boulder Adventures in helping us to help people overcome obstacles and enable them to Go Nice Places and Do Good Things. If you are unsure, or have any questions about matching the activities to the specific needs of your group please contact Boulder Adventures directly, their details are below.

WHO CAN APPLY

SCHOOL GROUPS OF UP TO 12 (MINIMUM AGE 13)

Exclusive use self-catered stay at the Bryn Du Mountain Centre. Arrive Monday lunchtime, depart Friday morning.

Week commencing 26th March 2020.

For up to 12 students taking part in activities and supporting staff. For age range 13-16.

No transport provided - groups will need to provide their own transport to and from the course and during the week.

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES

Mon pm – Raft Build
Mon Eve – Local night walk
Tues – Rock Climb and Canoe
Wed – Gorge Scramble followed by mountain prep.
Thurs – Mountain Day

HOW TO APPLY

Fill in theapplication form at:

Write 'Boulder Adventures Application' in the Project Title field and tell us a bit about your group in the other fields. The successful applicant will be selected at the AKF trustees meeting at the end of January 2020.

DEADLINE: 26th JANUARY 2020.

This 4 night residential course is provided by Boulder Adventures. Boulder Adventures is AALA certified and a member of the Institute for Outdoor Learning
