Playful by design
At just under 9 feet, the Delta is Alpkit’s most compact inflatable paddleboard — designed for casual paddling, beach fun, and quick trips out with the dog or kids. It’s easy to manoeuvre and quick to inflate, so you can spend less time faffing and more time floating. The shorter length means it's a dream to carry solo, even if you’ve also got a picnic and a pair of flip-flops in hand.
The wide deck and 15 cm thickness make it surprisingly stable for beginners and great for low-speed splashing, lounging, or even SUP yoga (if that’s your thing). Load up a dry bag on the front bungee straps, leash up, and get going.
“Takes me, my dog, and a picnic — what more do you need? Really fun and easy to throw in the car for an evening paddle.”
It’s a favourite with families, beach campers and anyone who thinks a day on the water should be more play than performance.
Made to last, easy to love
The Delta uses the same hard-wearing materials as our touring boards: double-layer PVC shell, drop-stitch core, stainless steel fixings. It’s built to take knocks, sandy paws, and curious little feet. Hose it down, roll it up, and stash it in the bag until next time. Includes a repair kit, just in case.
Paddle Safe
We strongly recommend all customers complete a certified training course and familiarise themselves with the potential risks and safety measures of stand-up paddle boarding before purchasing. Find your nearest BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddle Association) Sup School

Sustainability and Product Care
Care and Repair
Store your paddleboard or canoe away from direct sunlight to maximise its lifespan. After use, rinse with fresh water (especially if you have been paddling in the sea) and allow to dry fully before storage. Though any metal fixings are made from marine grade stainless steel, spraying them with WD-40 can help prevent any corrosion that may occur during prolonged storage. Take care to avoid sharp rocks when launching and do not exceed the maximum payload (max. 135kg) or pressure for your craft (max. 15psi).
Safety and Access
We recommend you always wear a personal floatation device (PFD) while out on the water. Take time to assess the water conditions before launching including currents, tides, swell, wind direction, temperature and any hazards below the surface. Practice getting back onto your board from the water in a controlled environment close to shore before venturing out on longer trips away from dry land. Many inland waterways require a license to paddle so it's worth looking up the access rules for your chosen spot. In the UK, a Paddle UK membership is good value and offers a combined license for the majority of the navigable rivers, canals and lakes. The above points are all recommendations and we advise you to consult a qualified instructor to make sure you know how to stay safe and maximise you enjoyment while afloat. Happy paddling!

Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
