Altai
£99.99 £139.99
The Altai is a thick and chunky winter jumper, ideal for post-swim, mid-climb or pre-Sunday dinner walks – got to make room for your roast!
- Chunky pure wool yarns trap lots of warmth
- Highly breathable and open knit for layering
- Naturally odour-resistant to wear more and wash less
With thick wool yarns and a chunky knit, the Altai keeps you roasty-toasty on frosty mornings and cold, damp winter days (there’s nothing worse than damp cold!). Wool is nature’s great insulator, holding onto its warmth-trapping structure even when damp.
The Altai’s open knit and breathable natural fibres allows your body’s moisture to escape easily when you’re working up a sweat. This makes it an ideal outer layer or cold weather midlayer, helping you to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the day.
Wool is naturally hardwearing and odour resistant, meaning you can wear your jumper multiple times before you start becoming unacceptably smelly. The Altai’s stretchy knit and fitted style allows you reach, bend and move freely for hiking and climbing. And the ribbed collar and cuffs are double layered to keep their shape and lock in warmth.

Sustainability and Product Care
Product Care Information
Wool is naturally odour-resistant but you can refresh your jumper by hanging it out in a stiff breeze. Spot clean to remove any dirty patches and, when necessary, hand wash and dry flat. Do not bleach, do not iron and do not tumble dry. Keep away from hungry moths. Or feed them something else instead.
