Lucy Allan
Mountainbike Guide and Sonder Rider
We are excited to announce that Lucy Allan will be joining our roster of riders for the 2024 season. Living in the Lakes, Lucy is used to the demanding terrain of todays modern enduro trails, and over the past few weeks she’s been pushing the Evol to its limits.
Usually you’ll find Lucy mountain bike guiding in the South Lake District, and any other chance she gets, she’s off shredding any trails she can get her wheels on. She loves all disciplines of cycling and first started racing in Cross-Country MTB, competing at a national level for many years. She’s now transitioned over to the enduro scene, finding the thrill of gravity, trail head socials and having good times on the fells with friends.
She recently kicked off her racing season at Boltby Bash Enduro. After only a few days of settling into the Evol 160, she showed her true pedigree, taking 1st place in the Senior Women's category.
After the race, Lucy gave us a run down on her thoughts on the Evol:
“I wasn’t sure I would get on with mullet because I’m 5”11ft but still having the 29er up front feels like it rolls well, but it’s nippier around the corners with the smaller back wheel. I have made it down some steeper switch backs that I never did before, so the mullet is a YES from me.”Lucy Allan, Sonder Rider
We can’t wait to see how Lucy gets on this season and will be supporting her the whole way.
