Picu Tee Women’s – cotton-soft comfort, technical performance.  Picu feels like your favourite well-worn tee — but performs like a technical layer when it counts. Lightweight, breathable and fast drying, it’s made for hot days on the move, multi-day travel, and everything between café stops and camp.

Performance where it counts

  • drirelease® fabric wicks sweat and dries 4x faster than cotton

  • Soft, breathable blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton

  • Relaxed fit with articulated sleeves and natural stretch

Cool, dry comfort for warm days and long miles

Whether you’re hiking in the hills, climbing in the sun or heading out on tour, the Picu keeps you cool, dry and comfortable. The drirelease® fabric pulls moisture away from your skin and dries fast to prevent that soggy, clingy feeling on hot, humid days. The organic cotton blend gives it a soft, natural feel, so it’s just as easy to wear off the hill as on it.

Articulated sleeves and a clean silhouette offer easy movement without bulk, and the laid-back fit pairs just as well with shorts as it does under a fleece or shell.

Lower impact. Long-lasting. Worn everywhere.

Made with recycled polyester and organic cotton, the Picu is printed with water-based inks and backed by our 3 Year Alpine Bond. It’s a versatile travel staple that looks like your everyday tee — and performs like your best technical one.

How It Is Made

Recycled MaterialsThis product is made from Drirelease® Eco fabric technology consisting of 85% recycled polyester and 15% organic cotton. The construction of the fabric uses hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibres engineered in a way that wicks moisture away from the body, pushing it to the outer surface of the garment for 4 x faster drying than a 100% cotton tee. This combination of fibres makes for high performance garments that perform day in, day out without the use of wash-in treatments.

Where It Is Made
Our products are made in the best factories in the world. We know the factories personally and they have all signed up to our Code of Ethics in our supply chain. This includes the Ethical Trading Initiative base code, fair pay, safe working environments, no child labour, no modern slavery, no bribery or corruption, no materials from conflict zones and humane farming methods.

All our factories sign up to our Code of Conduct. Find out where we make our product by visiting our Factories of Alpkit factory zone.

Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.

We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.

End of life
When your partnership with this product is over send it back to us and we will pass it on to someone that needs it through our Continuum Project.

How to Measure

This size chart indicates the body measurements our garments are designed to fit. Measure yourself as described below, and use the size chart to find your size:

Waist - Measure around your waist at the narrowest part.
Hips - Standing with your feet together, measure around your hips at the widest part.
Sleeve - With your arms relaxed by your side, tilt your head down and ask a friend to measure from the bone at the base of your neck, over your shoulder and down your arm to the fold at your wrist.
