Worn over your liner shorts or bibs, the Floe Trousers are ideal for mucky winter riding when the weather turns nasty and your baggies won’t quite cut it.
The Floe Trousers are designed to keep your legs a goosebump-free zone – and they’ll save you having to hose yourself down afterwards! The double-weave softshell fabric cuts out the worst of the wind but is still highly breathable so you don’t get too sweaty when you’re pushing hard. It’s also treated with an environmentally friendly PFC-free water repellent to fend off light showers and trail spray.
With a 4-way stretch and articulated legs that bend with you, the Floe Trousers allow you to pedal all day without restriction. The fabric’s double-weave fabric is soft against your skin and helps to wick away sweat to keep you comfortable. We’ve also added zipped thigh vents to help you control your temperature or if you need to cool down quickly after a long climb.
A slim fit reduces flapping in strong winds, but there’s still enough space in the knees to wear your pads underneath. The cut is tapered towards the ankle so you don’t snag the hem in your drivetrain, with a hardwearing semi-elasticated hem and reinforced inner ankle patch. Integrated elastic waist adjustors stop your trousers from slipping down mid-ride.

Caring For Your DWR
To maintain your trousers’ water repellent treatment (DWR), we recommend you wash them regularly with a specialist cleaner and re-proof them once or twice a year (depending on usage). Using spray-on reproofer (rather than a wash-in) helps to keep the inside of your trousers wicking effectively.
Washing Instructions
Wash on a gentle cycle at 30˚C or hand wash with lukewarm water – although you may want to hose the worst off first! Use a technical wash product (like Nikwax Tech Wash or Grangers Performance Wash) or pure soap. DO NOT use detergent, fabric conditioners or softeners. Rinse thoroughly in clean water and line dry or tumble dry on low heat.
PFC-Free DWR
The Floe Bike Trousers use a completely PFC-free water repellent treatment (DWR) to keep off showers and spray. PFCs are potentially harmful and have been found to build up in the environment. We don't like the sound of that so we've been working hard to get rid of them.

Author: Jamie DarlowThe Floe feels comfortable and stretchy on your skin, it's breathable and fairly mid-weight in terms of warmth.
Other brands need to sit up and take note of the Floe Pant and its multiple leg lengths. If not, the next generation is going to walk all over them. As it stands it's very good, keenly priced, well made and the fit system works well.
These trousers are designed for mountain biking, with room to wear knee pads, but are good for all-round cycling. An adjustable waist means they fit really well, and the diamond gusset avoids seams in uncomfortable places.
In wet weather the eco-friendly water-repellent coating did a good job of keeping me dry for a while, and if you start getting warm there are air vent zips on the thighs. The zip pockets are good and secure too and the tapered legs won’t catch on your chain.
