Alpkit Foundation Supports Warmly Park School in Bristol

By Alpkit

Warmly Park School in Bristol welcomes Alpkit Foundation’s support. Their new outdoor gear helps kids explore the wild while discovering their own potential.

The Alpkit Foundation is delighted to support Warmly Park School in Bristol. Warmly Park offers provision for pupils aged 3-19 with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties, and those on the Autistic Spectrum. The school would like to take a group of their Autistic children canoeing in Bristol Harbour.

Russell, from Warmly Park explains why the project is being undertaken, and why it is so important to the children. “It is important to challenge autistic children and take them out of their comfort zone, otherwise they will stay in their own world which will become ever smaller. Canoeing will develop their self esteem, build on new and existing relationships and improve their communication skills.”

The school would like the Alpkit Foundation to donate pairs of our HUUB Swim Gloves to make sure everyone’s hands stay warm and toasty!
