Heiko
£79.99 £129.99
With Primaloft Silver-eco warm, Heiko punches well above its weight on breezy belays, showery summit stops and chilly evenings around the tent. Windproof, water resistant and highly compressible, Heiko packs down into its own pocket.
- Excellent Primaloft warmth and fully windproof
- Highly compressible, fitting into its own chest pocket
- Uncompromising performance made from 100% recycled fabric and insulation with environmentally friendly water-resistant treatment
- Versatile jacket and mid-layering piece
The Heiko's outer fabric and inner liner are made from a super light and soft recycled polyester fabric. This fabric forms a fully windproof sandwich around the insulation (inedible though), trapping vital body heat when you stop moving or the wind picks up.
We've used PrimaLoft® Silver Eco, a 100% recycled insulation, for its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. This highly compressible fill allows the Heiko to pack away into its own chest pocket (complete with hang loop for clipping to climbing harnesses).
PrimaLoft® is water resistant too, repelling water and keeping its insulating ability even when wet. Combined with the fast-drying fabric (treated with a PFC-free DWR), this makes the Heiko ideal for changeable conditions — every other day in the British Isles, then!
Not just a versatile outer jacket, the Heiko can also double up as a super warm midlayer in colder temperatures. Its hoodless design and low-profile 60gsm insulation fit neatly under outer shells.
Designer's Notes
"With a PFC-free DWR and 100% recycled fabric and fill, the Heiko is our most sustainable jacket yet. And it's not just any recycled polyester fabric. It's a fabric that feels amazing next to the skin. We've even used it as the lining in our sleeping bags!"

Sustainability and Product Care
Product Care Information
Caring For Your DWR
To keep your jacket’s durable water repellent (DWR) treatment in tip-top condition, wash it regularly in pure soap or a specialist cleaner (like Nikwax Tech Wash or Grangers Performance Wash). You may also need to refresh the treatment about once or twice a year (depending on usage) using a reproofer. Using a spray-on reproofer preserves your jacket's wicking ability.
Washing Instructions
Wash on a delicate cycle at 30˚C or hand wash with lukewarm water. Use a technical wash product or pure soap. DO NOT use detergent, fabric conditioners or softeners. Rinse thoroughly in clean water. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Use a cool iron to reactivate the DWR.
