Axiom is a 4-person, 3-season tent ideal as a base camp shelter for group or family camping trips. With loads of room for kit and a comfortable living area to relax after days out in the hills or on the trails.

  • Large living area with standing headroom
  • Strong, freestanding, semi-geodesic pole structure
  • Compact pack size weighing only 7.5kg
  • Pitch with confidence - high performance materials for a reliable shelter

The freestanding semi-geodesic structure, inspired by our backpacking tents, is self-supporting so it doesn't rely on guy lines to stand up - though don't forget to peg these out for a full strength pitch! This makes Axiom stable in bad weather, lighter and easier to pitch and pack than traditional family tents. Perfect in a busy campsite.

Its spacious living area has plenty of standing headroom to make changing easy and gives space to sit inside and sort kit during bad weather. The separate sleeping area fits four people and has storage pockets.

A pitch-perfect base camp.

Designer's Notes:

"With the Axiom we wanted to create a tent for those who have done their fair share of camping in the mountains and now wish to introduce their young families to the joy of the outdoors. Taking inspiration from our range of backpacking tents, Axiom bridges the gap between traditional 'family' tents and high performance mountain tents. Offering a stronger pitch, lighter weight and more compact pack size, with carefully considered features that elevate the overall campsite experience."

Sustainability and Product Care

Caring for your tent

Clean and dry your tent thoroughly after each use. Never use a washing machine, tumble dryer or jet wash to clean your tent. Spot clean with warm water, mild (non-detergent) soap and a soft sponge. Never use bleach, fabric softeners or other household cleaning products and air dry only.

Tent repair

To make your tent last longer, avoid prolonged UV exposure and repair damage immediately. If you are unlucky enough to rip your tent on a trip, use duct tape or StormSure Tough Tape until you have a chance to repair it properly. For more tent repair tips read our tent care and repair blog.
