Join Peak District Mosaic as trustee to help make a positive difference in providing opportunities for people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities to engage with the Peak District National Park.
Here at the Alpkit Foundation it has always been special to be able to support those real change makers amongst us. Those working passionately to open up the opportunities for all to enjoy the outdoors.
We have been supporting Peak District Mosaic for a while now, recently helping push their new project Championing National Parks for Everyone. More info coming on this soon!
In the meantime, they are looking for individuals to be part of the trustee team that is passionate about providing opportunities for people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities to engage with the Peak District National Park.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday, 24 February, 2023.
Peak District Mosaic is a small registered charity that wants to hear from anyone who feels they would make a good trustee and anybody with expertise in finance or experience of supporting the Chair, as a Treasurer and Vice-Chair are also needed.
Yvonne Witter, Chair of Peak District Mosaic, explains:
"You don’t have to have been a trustee before but you do have to be passionate about the outdoor environment and enjoy working with people. We welcome applications from people who have lived experience, with an understanding of working with Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities. We value life experience, volunteering, community involvement and personal passion as much as work-based knowledge and skills.”
The new trustees will bring knowledge and expertise to the direction of Peak District Mosaic’s operations and activities, which make a positive difference to the lives of people involved.
As they look to expand the partnership with the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and Peak District National Parks they are particularly keen to hear from those with lived experience in, or near to those National Parks including Greater Manchester, Bradford, Leeds, Middlesbrough and South Yorkshire.
