Sonder Colibri

Available in Aluminium and Titanium each giving you a distinctive ride feel.

Colibri Ti

There’s nothing quite like titanium, combining the benefits of other materials for a unique and uncompromising ride. Half the weight of steel, twice as strong as aluminium, and more resistant to fatigue and impact than carbon and aluminium. Plus, it doesn’t corrode, making it ideal for a life as a working road bike. And if you want big tyres, you can certainly go big with this one - there's clearance for 36mm tyres or 32mm with mudguards.

A 4 season endurance racer, Colibri takes on all road conditions making it ideal for the Fred Whitton or the mountain climbs of the Tour de France. This is the bike for Galibier, Ventoux, Glandon, Alpe d’Huez, Bealach Na Ba, Bwlch-y-Groes, Hardknott, the list is endless.

Your Colibri Questions Answered

Is Colibri right for me?

Colibri is for riders who want a fast road bike that stays comfortable when the miles stack up. It’s ideal for long rides, sportives, club runs and fast commuting — especially if you want one road bike that handles real-world UK roads with confidence.

Is Colibri a race bike or an endurance bike?

Colibri is an endurance road bike. That means it’s designed to be fast and efficient, but with a more comfortable position and stable handling for longer rides. You still get speed — just without the aggressive race-bike feel.

What kind of riding is Colibri best for?

Colibri is built for:

  • Long weekend rides
  • Sportives and audax
  • Club rides
  • Fast commuting
  • Big mileage training
  • Rough UK road surfaces

It’s the bike you reach for when you want to ride further, more often.

What tyre size can Colibri take?

Colibri has clearance for tyres up to 36mm.

That means you can run:

  • Narrower tyres for speed
  • Wider tyres for comfort and rough roads
  • Tubeless for lower pressures and smoother rides

It’s built for real-world roads, not just smooth tarmac.

Is Colibri comfortable for long rides?

Yes. Colibri’s endurance geometry puts you in a comfortable, efficient riding position. Combined with wider tyres and stable handling, it helps reduce fatigue on longer rides.

It’s designed for hours in the saddle — not just fast bursts.

Is Colibri fast?

Yes — Colibri is lightweight, efficient and responsive.

It’s designed to climb well, roll fast and maintain speed — but with comfort for longer rides. Many riders find they ride further and faster simply because they stay fresher.

Can I use Colibri for commuting?

Yes. Colibri is fast, efficient and comfortable enough for daily riding. Wider tyre clearance also makes it more capable on rough roads and changing conditions.

Is Colibri suitable for beginners?

Yes. Colibri is stable, predictable and comfortable — making it a great first “proper” road bike. It’s also capable enough to grow with you as your riding develops.

What’s the difference between Colibri and Camino?

Colibri is a road bike designed for speed and long rides on tarmac.

Camino is a gravel bike designed for mixed terrain, tracks and bikepacking.

Choose Colibri if you mainly ride roads.

Choose Camino if you want to explore beyond the road.

Can I run mudguards?

Yes — Colibri supports real-world riding, including wet roads and winter miles. Check individual models for mounting details.

How is Colibri built?

Every Colibri is built to order in the UK by Sonder riders. That means careful assembly, modern standards and serviceable parts — ready for years of riding.
