Celebrate the longest day of the year with an early swim
Join us to bring in Summer Solstice and the longest day of the year. Meet at 6am at Alpkit Keswick before heading down to the lake for a swim under the sun coming up from behind the mountains.
You’ll be guided along the lake, but the swim is at your own pace and for as long and as far as you wish. All swimmers are welcome, and you can wear your swimsuit, wetsuit, but maybe not your birthday suit!
The swim will be followed by a solstice breakfast on the beach with hot drinks, breakfast rolls and pastries. Relax with the sounds of a summer morning and the feeling that you have achieved something before most of the world has got out of bed.
Summer Solstice is a time to celebrate, restart, and appreciate the long days of sunlight.
