Two film screenings: 'Possible', and 'Lakeland 200 Project'
Join us at Alpkit Ilkley on January 7th for screenings of two adventure bike films: Possible, and Lakeland 200 Project.
Over the last few decades, adventure films have often focused on a tried and tested narrative - a 'Hero's Journey'. But times are changing and alternative adventurous narratives are more visible now than ever before.
Catch the premiere of Possible (an exploration of ultra-distance bike racing and mental health challenges) and the newly release Lakeland 200 Project film (which documents the story of 7 women as they attempt to complete the infamous Lakeland 200).
** WARNING - The first of these films covers mental health subjects which some viewers may find difficult **
The screenings will start at 7pm and last approximately 2 hours. Refreshments provided on the night.
