Resolute soft shell jacket shuts out the worst of the elements to keep you comfortable over a wide range of conditions.
The first thing you’ll notice when you put on the Resolute is that it feels incredibly comfortable yet tough enough to keep you protected for years to come.
A double weave fabric with a water repellent coating makes Resolute abrasion and wind resistant on the outside, yet comfy and breathable on the inside. A bit of spandex in the fabric gives you plenty of freedom to move, making it excellent for anything from local winter cragging to crisp alpine summer days. The articulated arms and a drop hem ensure that you can push yourself on the harder moves without feeling restricted and prevents cold spots.
When you’re climbing or scrambling, Resolute’s feature-set really comes into its own. The hood fits over a helmet, with 3 hood adjustment points for getting a good fit and a stow-away tab for when you want it out of the way. The front 2-way zip lets Resolute fit over your harness, and if you prefer to tuck your jacket into your harness you’ll still have access to the large external and internal chest pockets.

Product Care Information
To maintain the water resistance of your jacket, we recommend you wash and re-proof once or twice a year using specialist products like Nikwax or Grangers. For more information, read our detailed care instructions.
As with all water resistant garments from responsible outdoor brands, our water resistant jackets meet international environmental standards and require occasional washing with a technical wash to maintain their high breathability. This wasn’t always the case. Years ago, jackets were treated with chemicals that had toxic by-products that lingered in the environment for generations. Those old chemicals needed little maintenance, whereas modern waterproofs need regular washing. We fully support this change. In fact, we quite like the idea of taking time to look after our kit so that it lasts a long time. We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of all our products –in fact it’s in our DNA: we can’t imagine ever doing anything else. We always review the materials we use, manufacturing methods and our own consumption of resources. We do the research, make informed decisions, and choose the best option available to us.
