Adventurise your camping

The signs of summer are slowly creeping up which for many means digging out their camping equipment and heading off to sleep under canvas. The end of May will see at least three reasons to get out of the house.

National Camping and Caravanning week
The Camping and Caravanning Club's annual celebration of all things camping is the National Camping and Caravanning week. This week also coincides with half term, so why not make it a family experience. Do something a bit different, whether going solo, or with the whole family rather than sticking to the normal campsites. Use it as a chance to add a bit more adventure into your experience.

Tarp it
If you're keen to use a tarp but have never put one up before then don't worry. Learn more by following our Top Tarp Tips over the coming few weeks and we'll soon have you setting up camp where ever you may find yourselves. If you'd prefer to speak to someone then give us a call, or if you're nearby why not pop into our showroom to see ourtarps and even have a go at putting one up!

Other things you may need include cookware, torches, lanterns, waterproof bags and rucksacks. But we all know the best thing we can take with us is knowledge, so check out our bookshelfwhich includeds inspirational books and guides to help along the way.

Inspiration
If you think you can't do it then head over to our friends the Meeks who have some great ideas. If you need an excuse then the RSPB are running a Big Sleep Out. It will be one of the best excuses to sleepout this year, who wouldn't want to wake up to a true dawn chorus in one of the RSPB's nature reserves.

Sleep nice places, wake up and do good things.
