Wanted: Product Hero

We are looking for an ProductHero to join our band of Customer Support Heroes.

Listening to our customers has been core to Alpkit since way back when. As Nick, Jim, Kenny and Col would answer phones and head out to events so that they could get to know our customers. Off the back of their findings, ideas would be brought to life, designs amended, new products created. We even went as far as our CoLAB Design Awardto get customers fully involved with the design of our products.

Hours:40hours perweek, from 9.00 - 17.30, Monday to Friday with1/2 hr paid breaks during the day and 1/2 hr unpaid lunch.

Location:Work is based at our HQ in Nottingham.

Pay:Dependent on experience.

Responsiblities:

Handling customer enquiries relating to product care, spares, refunds andAlpine Bond claims

Processing of customer returns withspeed & diligence

Carrying out simple repairs

Working closely with product team to ensure feedback is fed into design

Work closely with warehouse team to ensure returned products are reprocessed

Requirements:

Strong, technical understanding of outdoor products and their use - a true outdoorproduct geek!

Computer literate with ability to use Word, Excel, & Mac based apps

Passion for creating excellent customer experiences

Fluent in written and spoken English

Excellent organisation and time management skills

Nice but not required:

Experience in the outdoor industry

Fluency in additional languages, especially French, Italian, Spanish or German

Personal Attributes:

Strong attention to detail

Motivated to develop skills, knowledge and role

Passionate about outdoor products and enjoy talking about them

Affinity towards Alpkit ethos and products

Enjoy being part of a team

Flexibility to pick up work in other areas of Customer Support when busy
