Paul takes on the Dam Wall for Charity

By Jay Oram

Intrepid climber, charity worker and last but not least - member of the Alpkit factory team, Paul is heading off to Switzerland soon to take on a challenge to raise money for a kids play forum in Nottinghamshire.

Paul started with us not long after Christmas having no experience in the factory - now he is a dab hand at it - bringing a smile first thing in the morning too.

Paul's challenge is to climb the worlds largest artificial climbing wall - the Diga Di Luzzone Dam in Switzerland. Surrounded by the beautiful Swiss Alps, this hidden dam has climbing holds from top to bottom, a grueling 165m, 5 pitch(5b, 5c, 6a, 6a+, 6a+) climb. With 30m - 40m steep sustained climbing throughout, we are supporting Paul on this and wish him good luck.
